[REQ] NPC - the Seamstress
Re: [REQ] NPC - the Seamstress
If you upscale the glasses a lot, you can even have a glare effect in the glasses.
The glasses should be larger than the eyes. Yes, that ridiculously big. (At least for show of the extremes from where you can work towards the best compromise.)

Lazy bum.
Re: [REQ] NPC - the Seamstress
Much better. The glasses look a bit weird, maybe make her eyes show better. The cloth in ther hand could use more definition too, but that could be the background it's on.

Isn't a handkerchief just a fancy square cloth?yosuhara wrote:it looks more like a handkerchief than a cloth...
Lazy bum.
Re: [REQ] NPC - the Seamstress
I liked the larger cloth better. If you look at the script, she seems to be holding either a very expensive dress or a large sheet of cotton.

I think the old one looks more like a rug. Maybe somewhere in between.Vink wrote:I liked the larger cloth better. If you look at the script, she seems to be holding either a very expensive dress or a large sheet of cotton.

Instead of vaguely describing suggestions and causing hell and frustration for the pixel artist to have to go back and forth:
1) Take a pen.
2) Take some paper.
3) Digitize somehow. (I recommend a scanner. Handy little buggers those.)
4) Post here.
5) Actually get your point across.
Unless you show it, your visions will never match.

Good point Rotonen, but not everyone can draw on paper, and not everyone can afford a scanner.
Re: [REQ] NPC - the Seamstress
ok, now you're suggesting that seamstress sew dresses from handkerchiefs?kr0n05931 wrote:Isn't a handkerchief just a fancy square cloth?yosuhara wrote:it looks more like a handkerchief than a cloth...
j/k

Before this turns into a too ridiculous of a nitpick tug-of-war, just pick something and go with it. Use your own judgement and call it a day.

Kronos,
I like the general direction and the way Lora herself looks. I preferred the longer (and wonderfully wavy) cloth you had earlier, but have to agree that her pose looked a bit unnatural. Well, here is a minor change to your last revision that I personally am happy with (others, feel free to disagree):
