Re: game_rules.txt Russian translation
Sorry, but unfortunately the TMW client does not support Cyrillic letters.
But the 0.1 client for TMWServ does. So we can maybe use your translation for the new server. What character encoding did you use for the text file? You should use UTF-8, but when I set my text editor to UTF-8 encoding it does not display the characters you added. I am not sure if this is because they are not UTF-8 encoded or because my text editor can not display Cyrillic letters at all.

Please keep all rules translations on this article: http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/ ... les_Dialog.
If you can make it work with the client, please add the Russian translation.

Re: game_rules.txt Russian translation
If the Cyrillic letters don't work, why not transcribe it into Latin letters?
Re: game_rules.txt Russian translation
I used Cyrillic Windows-1251 cause I did not have any text editor except MS notepad at that time. But in this file I converted it to UTF-8. If client do not support Cyrillic letters, this translation might be useful later. Also I can make translation in translit.Crush wrote: What character encoding did you use for the text file? It would probably be best to wait. 0.0.27 will support more characters, but not Cyrillic.ado wrote:I used Cyrillic Windows-1251 cause I did not have any text editor except MS notepad at that time. Þþ
Lazy bum.
Re: game_rules.txt Russian translation
The 0.0.27 client now fully supports ISO-8859-15 in most places.
Re: game_rules.txt Russian translation
Þorn included. But not in the text that appears above the players’ heads... Oh, well, I may start a topic about that.
Re: game_rules.txt Russian translation
That sounds dirty (if one mistakes the first letter for a P). Are you sure you wish to include that in tmw?Ces wrote:Þorn included.
(yes, very silly joke )
Re: game_rules.txt Russian translation
Usually I would say "would require unnecessary animation phases", but in this case it would be acceptable since we don't have to modify any clothes to fit the base sprite phases.

Wrong thread?Crush wrote:Usually I would say "would require unnecessary animation phases", but in this case it would be acceptable since we don't have to modify any clothes to fit the base sprite phases.
Re: game_rules.txt Russian translation
Unless Crush is talking about the amount of clothing “Þorn†would need to be implemented in the game.
