TMWWeb preview

Post by Exceptionfault »

Here you can find an up-to-date preview of TMWWeb. This installation uses a standalone database and is not connected to a running server, so the data will be very static!

http://tmw.mericet.de

Use the following username / passwords to login:
  • test / test
  • admin / admin
Feel free to comment and report bugs in mantis. Hope we will have a "real" preview connected to testing.themanaworld.org, soon.

new password for "test" is "testtest".
Changing password works fine  but I am not able to change it back to test since it complains about being to short.

Typo on "Settings" page: You wrote "accout" instead of "account" (twice).
  • former Manasource Programmer
  • former TMW Pixel artist
  • NOT a game master

Please do not send me any inquiries regarding player accounts on TMW.

You might have heard a certain rumor about me. This rumor is completely false. You might also have heard the other rumor about me. This rumor is 100% accurate.

Do you want any help with making this site? I'd be willing to help out with some PHP programming if you want. You can see my entire volunteer offering at this thread: http://forums.themanaworld.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5731. I guess just let me know if you would like assistance on a rather small level. It looks like there are a bunch of php features that still need to be developed. The auctions look especially fun. Let me know, thanks.

Hi tralfalmadore,

we're always looking for help and you are free to support us in any way.
To develop tmwweb, just make a clone of our repository and try to get it up and running. I'm using NetBeans6.5 IDE for coding PHP, but you can use whatever you like.

Maybe you can join our developers chat on freenode (channel: #tmwdev), so we can discuss the todos.

And according you PM:
I'm also curious which part of germany (east or west) you're from
I'm from Heidelberg, so its neither north nor west, it's in the south *g*

Heidelberg... I see. I'm going to be going to school in the Netherlands soon... In a southern city called Maastricht. I'm really excited since its so far away from my home here in California.

I'll check out the repository and dev chat tonight after work.
