Sure. I make the midtone more bluish. How about this?

It's not just about color - Len shades a much larger area than you do.

Sorry, I have misunderstood you. You meant the larger shade, right? How about this?

I actually enjoyed the color variation in the screenshot, although I must admit that my trees standout too much (After your last revision, it should work)

Hi Len,

Welcome back. Yes, colour variation can make it more interesting, maybe we can have tree with different colour in the forest tileset? Afterall, forest should have different lighting than woodland, and more moss! :)

Are you sure it's good to make them look the same except for the shape? In a natural forest, there are different species of trees, and these have different colours on leaves as well as trunks, right?

Reality is unrealistic ;)

Just look at the screenshot on the last page.

I've modified the fruit tree... if this is good enough then we just need to modify the multilevel tree and we can have a tree update for the woodland (without remapping)

Very nice work. I think the stump on Saphy's could be a bit less blurry though, but the same shape.

It is blending a little too much into the grass
Perhaps brightening the edge would provide ample contrast between the truck and grass
(the tree-trunk on the right should look slightly more defined)

Lets not forget this tree by Saphy (which can replace the old dead trees)

, and we still need a replacement for the multilevel tree (but woodland_x3 tileset is finished with the exception of some touch up work)

Much better. Good job on the tileset. Can't wait to see these in-game. Btw, will these sprites completely replace our gardened trees? It may be worthwhile to keep the "gardened" trees that we used to have in the forest for the cities and for gardens, or residential areas.
Lazy bum.
