Any musical guidelines?

Post by Liam Nixon »

I'm interested in creating some new music for the Mana World, but I'd like to know what sort of music everyone would like to hear in the game before I start.

Any suggestions? :D

Not the kind of stuff you usually get on the pop lists. More towards interesting composition and unique arrangements.

No solid guidelines.

Try to use natural sounding instruments as opposed to synthesisers or synthesised instruments.

Yeah, my plan is to compose the music with MIDI instruments, but replace them with real instruments when we pound out a finalized version. Specifically the drums and bass. MIDI is not flattering for those two.
