I like it, but an NPC standing on the north side of the horizontal one would be invisible.
Retired from TMW; incomplete projects looking for a dev:

Thats why you should npc's on the south side? :P
Even If I did draw it so that you could see the npc, it would be just a few pixels, which is IMO not enough for a npc. Just put the npc's in front or on the side so that everyone can see them clearly.

that's because of the angle it's unavoidable
Oh also, maybe the top should be seperate tiles, that way one could tile different vending goods and place the top over it as over-layer
In game characters: "5t3v3" and "L "

Improved the wood (stolen from Iru's tileset). While IMO the wood is nicer, it does not really fit in the tilesets we have right now. But on the other side, it does not look to horrible either IMO. Still working on it.

The reason it doesn't fit is mainly the color.
  • former Manasource Programmer
  • former TMW Pixel artist
  • NOT a game master

Please do not send me any inquiries regarding player accounts on TMW.

You might have heard a certain rumor about me. This rumor is completely false. You might also have heard the other rumor about me. This rumor is 100% accurate.

The red and white stands out too much, in my opinion. How about making it a little bit dusty?

The shape of the horizontal and vertical pieces does not match. The vertical piece is clearly curved due to gravity, but that does not relay on the horizontal piece.

True, any idea how to improve that? I tried to do that with shading, which is just ugly IMO but I can't think of how to improve it.

sorry to add to criticism, but i wouldn't comment if I didn't like the idea!

For the depression in the horizontal sheet, the vertical sheet seems to have a sharp rise when it meets the center board, so shading that or showing the topside of the ridge would help it.

Also your vertical boards, when connected (if that is there intended use) are all one plank. Might have to create a separate image of wood butting and whatever hardware like it does on the side panels.

I also agree that its just fine to have the NPC stand beside his stand! I'd have to see 'in front' in action, but I'm sold on 'to the side'.
