Bring in human test for registration?

Post by kr0n05931 »

I have noticed that quite a few spam bots have come in recently. Should we add a CAPTCHA or a human test that randomly picks a question out of 5 questions each time someone registers?
Lazy bum.

Don't they have to accept their activation e-mail before being able to post? It's likely a spamhaus, so some room full of paid Russian spammers are typing captcha images that come into their queue from their spaming system, and clicking through activation e-mails to complete the process. This should be internationally punishable by public caning with a big stick of dried bamboo.
