Money being lost through trades!

I just tried trading my helper almost 90k worth of gp and it was lost...the trade was cancelled and now I am out the gp.

Any idea wtf is this about???

Can you try to reproduce the incident?

When you could isolate the exact circumstances which cause money and/or items to disappear and post exact instructions it would help us to find the bug.

I did what I usually did, I started the trade with the mule...added the gold from her side, hit the ok button and the trade...next thing I know the server told me that the trade had been cancelled (even though it 'went' through) and I had lost the gold. I dunno what caused it...no items have gone missing but the trade window has been very buggy lately anway

I can confirm this as happening. Last night i was doing the same and lost 700k. The items were traded, but the cash did not appear on the mule.

Confirmations are good, but what we need is an exact method for reproducing the problem at will.

It is unlikely that you will get your money back because trades are not logged.

Thus it is important that you help finding out the exact circumstances which lead to the loss of money so that the bug can be fixed.

For now, don't trade more than half of your GP in a single transaction.

I know confirmations arent all that helpful in fixing the problem, but as i was logging on the Mule i noticed 500k missing. Not sure when it happened, but i thought i should post here anyway.

i would love to see my half mill back, but if its not going to happen i wont cry too much

I confirm the trade bug, i also trade 200k and lost it, it will be great if we get our money back but i wont cry for it...
The exact circunstances where a normal trade, at February 14 between 22:21 and 22:22 between characters "Manjes"
and "Ayudante Nuevos", they where only trading money.

The only proof i have its a sceenshot of Server Messages, but i dont think its helfull.

TMW version 0.028, Debian Sid Version.

Some observation on this:
I added Items, then 500k to trade window (trading from Me to Mule).
Pressed "Ok" on Me, then "OK" on Mule, then "Trade" on Mule, then "Trade" on me.

In the chat window of my Mule it says:
Server: You picked up 30 Cobalt Herbs
Server: You picked up 129 Silk Cocoons
Server: Trade chanceled.
Server: Trade completed.
(Mule on TMW 0.0.27 OSX 10.4)

On my main the log says:
Server: Trade chanceled.
Server: Trade completed.
(Me on TMW 0.0.28 OSX 10.5)

The mule got the items, but not the money.

Maybe helps locate the bug.

yesterday lost 200k but I dont mind

mostly when u want trade more than 70k it somehow disappear somewhere

i lost 647.500gp by trading with my mule and it feels bad
and i know for everyone who lost his/her money its bad too
we all were fighting hard to get that much and i want it back...

its in your might to bring that back....i know that gm can spawn items and money
its not fair i didnt know that! u could write that on the register topic "to not trade" but i never saw those stuff !! So its your(developers?) guilty and i want u to give me my money back!!
