Penalties for being banned

Post by Anna »

I suggest that if you are caught breaking the rules by botting, you should lose everything that you have. Money, armor, status. Ok, so you take a few levels of rank away and they start over with same things to bot again. Make it worth losing something if they are caught, all belongings should be lost..

I think the way it is is fine. They get reset back to lvl 1. The second time they do it they lose even items and money. That's fair.

Everyone deserves a second chance.

I like the idea of increasing the risk.
Perhaps a graduated system.

First time - 10 lvl and money
Second time - all lvl and possesions
Third Time - Permanent ban

Just a thought...first time should be sufficient to discourage.
But I agree right now there really isnt sufficient discouragement.

Isn't it 1st time you keep money and items but you go all the way back to lvl 1?

If you get caught botting, you can ask a reset if that is the first time. That means all that you have left after the reset is your armor and money. You restart as a lv1 without job points. I think that is dissuasive enough. The second offense is a permanent ban.

Yeah that's perfect.. :P

Reset to lvl 1 would discourage anymore botting from that player.

A smart botter would put his possessions on a mule before he starts botting....
