phpBB?

Post by Alxe »

Why not other BBS? A phpBB may be OK for a community that needs to modify code to base it's system and so, but for a game development and discussion, I think it's too much.

Never thought of porting the DB to another "format" and use a different BBS? I do think phpBB is kinda bloated. PunBB/FluxBB are simple ones. MyBB is a more complex one, with easy-to-use mods and themes. SMF is always said to be really well, but I never had the option to use it too much time, and by then I didn't like it.

I prefer SMF myself, but we have nothing to gain from migrating to an another system.
