New item idea

I had an item idea that would work with ore that is currently being used. Create a new drop called Carbon. It looks just like ash although it would be black in color. The Carbon, would be added to the ore to increase strength of a metal object like a sword . Or this could be turned into a new quest to improve an existing item. The Fire Skull and Fire Goblins could drop the carbon.

or it increases sword attack until X numbers of monsters but an npc has to enable the counter and with x money and x carbon peaces. or could lead into the development of more weapons and such things.
