You are both wrong. There is still a lot to do and the top surfaces are the least concern.

Looking good Crush. Maybe try adding a lighter color in the marble veins to make em stand out a little more and look more natural.

Also just a suggestion maybe alternate the posts and use the large ones at the ends and the smaller ones in the middle. For instance maybe using a large post then the two smaller ones then the large one. Might be a problem tho doing this with the size constraints just an idea.

Keep up the good work. :)

Crush,

for an old, abandoned cemetery, both the marble and the metal look very clean and polished (no moss, stains, ...). Perhaps going for a black cast-iron look for the metal parts might help? You might also want to consider adding cracks to the posts.

That's exactly what I meant with my post "There is still a lot to do and the top surfaces are the least concern."

Much worse. You removed the anti-aliasing and replaced it by some strange anti-anti-aliasing. Maybe you read a tutorial about selective outlining and tried to apply it. Selective outlining should only be used for sprites.

Did you use MS Paint or some other low-end image manipulation program which can't handle alpha transparency?

I wanted to try a rusty copper look for the fence (copper rust is blue-greenish) but the result could also be interpreted as rusty iron with moss. What do you think about it?

Vertical fences in the first preliminary mapping test. The stones are placeholders and should be replaced by proper tombstones.

The black fence looks nice and ominous. Rotenen I'm impressed, you certainly do have an eye for colors.

Crush, this set is looking awesome!
