The Mana World Player Community

This is a non-affiliated alliance for the benefit of TMW Player Community. This page is to help create a contact list for affiliated and non-affiliated players that want to help enrich TMW player community. Individuals can be added here as long as what they do is for the player community at large. For more exclusive or player group specific additions, please add to "Player Groups". Please use the fields offered below to prevent chaotic editing:

Character Name

* Player Group?: If yes, name of player group hyperlinked to the player group webpage. If no, put "No" in this field.

* Roles: Party Leader, Player Helper, TMW Wiki Helper, Event Organizer. For new roles, please discuss in the forums under "Player Talk" before adding them.

* Descriptions and Scheduled Times: Use a brief description here and hyperlink to a "Player Talk" topic for a full description. Be sure to include the days, dates and times in the description. All times used should be UTC.

* Other Information: Include information about non-scheduled assistance or activities the player offers. Examples include: "On the Fly" Raids (Party Leaders commonly do this) and Screeny Parties. Other relevant information can also be added here.

* Contact: Include contact information. Examples of how to be contacted: Whisper "Character Name" In Game, Player Talk Forums or Private Message "Forum Name", Email, Player Group Website, Personal Blog or Website. Use hyperlinks when necessary.

The player group page on the wiki is for any kind of player organization, no matter if they demand exclusive membership or not. As I already said the page covers all kinds of organized player groups, no matter if you call them clans, guilds, alliances, cults, sects, factions, bands, clubs, cliques, gangs, organizations, societies, coalitions, leagues, fraternities, associations or unions.

i know wombat your group of players is supporting the "competitive game elements" but can you limit this behavior on other player groups they like this too? i think that would be great of you.

knulfine, my point was that you were defining your noob helper group in a way that made it seem like it wasn't going to even be a group. You wanted to have a list and this group was created to list any individual regardless of player group, including no affiliations, and how they want to help. Basically, I built this to collaborate with you on the "list" concept.

What is a hp creator? Do you think being a "founder" is a role that should be added to this particular list or perhaps these roles you posted could be added under a more specific "noob helplers" group entry in the wiki?

I pictured you or anyone else that is interested in your idea simply listing themselves as "player helpers". Perhaps once you design this "noob helpers" page, it will be easier to see what you are getting at, but it appears we are simply talking past each other.

@Wombat: i don't list myself. Sure it's a group, I never wrote anything else. I only repeat that it's no clan (because I'm afraid people worry about that if they both wanna join and are in a clan). And about "roles" well i didn't exactly know what I'm supposed to write there, so I wrote what I do. If that's wrong, please tell me what you mean there? hp creator is the person who makes the homepage? Is there another word in english that's better? I don't know - I'm no native speaker.

I added knulfine's info to the player group wiki page. Once your list is finished and a description of what you do is provided somewhere, I'm willing to add "Noob Helpers" as a player group to the wiki under its own entry.

I also encourage others to submit your info on this page if you are doing something to help bring together TMW player community. I'll add to the wiki, unless others feel comfortable enough doing it for themselves.

I've added sugarcorgit to the community list for her Hurnscald Open Event on Sundays at 19:00 UTC. This event varies every week, but it tends to be a social occasion with acting, dances, screeny parties, treasure hunts and so on.

I want to add more people to the list, so feel free to step forward and try your hand as a player helper, event organizer, a dedicated raiding party leader or other role you feel you could help the broad player community of The Mana World.
