Why was I banned? ~ Enchilado

I have been... 'temporarily banned from the game until 2009-06-23 09:41:51'. May I please know what brought this ban about, as I have no idea... in fact, my internet has been stuffing up for the last ten minutes or so, with lag so bad my words never appeared on the screen and monsters were invisible.
Please, GMs - it's only a short ban, but I'd like to know why I was awarded it.

Hello Enchilado, you were probably autobanned. Be careful when you experience lag, the server doesn't know that you didn't say the same thing several times on purpose.

i noticed there is a way to avoid lag , when running to another part of an area , and the monsters / players dont load , backtrack to where you were , and go to the same section , if you were sitting in town and everything stops and you are sending a message , run to the towns armor shop , this will usually work for the ubuntu version because unlike windows , when it laggs , the game just stopps and you can still move , but cannot type a msg. but windows , you will lag , the game will lag . just saying XD

Mmm.. why don't try to forbid the repeating client-side? (in addition to the server-side check).
That would probably avoid situations like this one.
