Legal, or not ?

Hello,
I want to ask if it's legal or not to change the "skin" of TMW ...
Because I also play a Aethyra, and I liked the brown skin ...
So I replaced the files from TMW window, then I have not replaced those of Aethyra ...
Now, if it's illegal, I submit the old files.

Of course its legal. That's what Free and Open Source Software is all about. you can change pretty much anything you want.

For example, I wrote a patch that lets me talk while still attacking things with num-lock and another that lets me pick up everything i can reach without moving with one button.

You can make any changes you want to the game, as long as it doesn't "hack" the server (i.e. creating a patch that would exploit a server bug to duplicate items would be illegal to use; although technically legal to create)

What Undecim said is correct: You are free to change what you want.

When you make a change which would also be an improvement for the official version then please post it on the forum or the bugtracker so that we can consider putting it in. When you make a change which exploits a bug you are even more asked to publish it so that we can find a fix for it.
