Clock for woodland
Clock for woodland
I've been working on a grandfather clock for the woodland indoor set. I didn't put any details on the clockface because of the limited size of the graphic.

Re: Clock for woodland
You do know you could and probably should make it two tiles wide?

Re: Clock for woodland
You may be the head of art, but I think that if it was two tiles wide it wouldn't be tall enough. Grandfather clocks aren't huge great wide things. Trust me. I have one in my bedroom...

Making it 2 tiles wide doesn't necessarily mean it has to be that wide. There would still be the normal wall detail around out. It would look fine.. And allow for more detail.

Version 2. Style changed to better match the rest of the woodland. Less depth. Taller. Etc. And a preview.
I might want to make three tiles tall instead of two.

Re: Clock for woodland
It's okay... could I have a fiddle with it, though? The one in my bedroom is a really nice style and I think one like it would be great, even if only rich people had one.

Re: Clock for woodland
This is, of course, just a sketch (me not being able to pixel and all), but it gives a general idea of the shape I thought it ought to be.

I like the idea of this latter one, especially the clock face is a neat idea of how to do it.

Re: Clock for woodland
Much better. Does anyone other than me feel that the "shelf" on top is a bit too big?
Re: Clock for woodland
Yes it seems a little top heavy to me.

Re: Clock for woodland
widening the base is a good solution to making it look less top heavy
