Not to sound like a downer but I don't see the point in this... and for what I can see you are using the "old" resolution, right?

Thanks for you comment and view :),

Yup. I already know the new resolution is 32x64. Anyway.. the playerset is intended to be used with the current client. That's the point actually.

Bump..

Latest news.. i'm sorry guys .. computer is acting up weird lately.. always restarted which prevent me from completing the task.. lol.. cheers.

player should have the choice.

TIPS: read all the post.

Who are you telling that? And who has said that is a bad idea? I think no one did, I only said it 's worthless because is working in vain when the new playerset is coming. Of course multiple players is good but I don't see how this would fit.

I think he was talking to me.
I did read all the posts, I just still don't get why he's doing all this. So I tried to make sure he was aware of the fact a new playerset is in development, as he didn't give a direct answer to that.

I agree multiple player sets would be nice, but they should fit with eachother. As Pajarico just said.

Don't get offended 8)

I'm not telling you to stop working but to contact Rotonen and start doing something that we could use.

See, the issue here isn't the quality of your work, nor the idea that the players should have choice. It's the fact that, if we have two playersets with completely different outlines, the clothes/equipment spriters have to make two sets of every piece of clothing/wearable equipment in the game to accomodate that (that's a lot of sprites). Additionally, although choice is good, the choices should be in the same style, so that the game has a coherency to it, rather than looking really patchwork. You know?
