[FND] Forest Armor
Meant to be a set with the Fairy Hat so I left the hat in there to show how it would look together.

You might have heard a certain rumor about me. This rumor is completely false. You might also have heard the other rumor about me. This rumor is 100% accurate.
Re: [WIP] Forest Armor
Okay so I spent the last hour or so trying to design the back and just scratched everything!
If anyone has ideas please feel free to share. Otherwise I think i'll go with a plain back, like most of the armor we have.

Re: [WIP] Forest Armor
I think green cloth with a plain leather collar similar to the one on the front would look good.

Awesome work goku. All you need now is pants and maybe some green gloves and it be ready
Re: [WIP] Forest Armor
Thank you guys, but i'll have to focus on just the armor for now. College is starting up soon so i'll have much less time. I'll try to get this done before then which gives me about a week and a half.

I think the back looks too similar to the front.

Re: [WIP] Forest Armor
I agree with that. A small change on the back should work fine. Keep on rockingCrush wrote:I think the back looks too similar to the front.
Re: [WIP] Forest Armor
Okay I decided to keep the back the way it is, hope no one minds too much.. any other way I tried, different design, or plain, etc just made it look off.
Male set is done..
Anyways here it is:

Re: [WIP] Forest Armor
Back and front for this kind of armor should be similar.
Edit Add: However, doing a search of medieval hoods, the shoulder/chest part is typically part of the hood. It would stand to reason that this armor, if it is made in such a way as to be historically accurate (which it doesn't have to be) would have a hood connected to the shoulder/chest part of this "armor".
This is the closest example and it seems to have a hood connected to the should/chest part:
Edit Edit Add (sorry): Upon further inspection, the shoulder/chest part is called a "mantle", the dangling pieces of cloth coming from it are called "dags" and medieval-styled mantles often, but not always, have hoods.
Current character is "Abolish".
