"Could not load tileset!"

Post by hoogli »

I'm using 0.0.29.1 fullscreen (1024 x 600) on a run-of-the-mill netbook (Intel GMA, Atom processor, etc.) , using Windows 7. When I turn on OpenGL, TMW occasionally crashes, giving the message that "tileset couldn't be loaded". The bug disappears when turning off OpenGL. I'm not sure if this is a memory issue, because I turned off virtual memory (my SSD is slow). But I would think 1gb of memory is enough, and without OpenGL Windows occasionally tells me I'm running out of memory, without crashing at all.

EDIT: Actually, I'm 100% sure this is a memory issue now. Even though memory was only 86% used when I tried to paste the screenshot, MSPaint would not open. My fault >.<

EDIT2: Also, I'm actually using QOAL's patch, but the same thing happened before I patched.

Try to update your opengl driver. Windows isn't nice with opengl, and since win7 is still new, drivers are still being worked on.
