Armor Wear
I was just wondering when you where going to show armor on characters in The Mana World. I understand that it takes time to program The Mana World and to do the art work when constantly adding new things to it, but being stuck in underwear and not being able to define your character by the armor you choose for him to wear is a bit of a bummer. Just curious, thanks.

I'd like to say that the programming part is almost done, it acts the same as showing the bow and knife. We're first waiting for the new playerest to be completed. Expect updates about it in the next days. Once it will be completed we will have to wait until the current equipments are drawed, or maybe we should just continue not displaying them and add them as updates to the update system as soon as we complete them, this could be also a test of the updating system. So the biggest step is trying to introduce the new playerset in the next release

Apart from that they look really great... but shouldn't every part of clothing be a seperate bitmap?
I mean, are you drawing the full pants seperate, or is it all one layer? If you already draw everything seperate, nevermind then.

Thank goodnessKinetic wrote:Yeah, I'm going to make them all seperate.
There will be 4 parts: Chest, wrist, pants, and shoes (maybe belt).
I just put them all together in that picture.
I knew they will be ventually, I just wasn't sure in what form Kinetic was editing them; Merged or seperate... but he just took away my worries.Matt wrote:Elven said that the clothes will be layers...

I've done some equipment as well, not animated yet though (and only the front)...
Underpants, pants, sandals, medium/heavy armor, a belt and a shirt.

Perfect what?
And ofcourse there will be more items, but you can't do everything at once... or in a short time in any way.
