the feathers use a lot of stray alpha that don't show at 100%. I would say its almost done if some one wants to try finishing it off.

Interesting, but it looks terrible on black hair.

~perhaps if it was a different colour - or recolourable?

Actually, now that I look at it, it is terrible, with or without feathers. So I wouldn't work on it anymore. But you are free to make modification.
