Initially I came up with Axl's roof palette and that brought me to this:

[WIP] [CR1] Roof for Village / Academy exterior
Re: [WIP] [CR1] Roof for Village / Academy exterior
I like the shape and colors, I feel like is a little dark, maybe a light color here and there could help.
Also I don't know about the angle, don't you think is too close ?

Colours could be adjusted in future in no-time. About angle - this is only one matematicaly reasonable ange - 90 deg. Thanks to that tiles are easy scaleable (tileable).AxlTrozz wrote:I like the shape and colors, I feel like is a little dark, maybe a light color here and there could help.

I have to add:
- some hilights to edges of roof
- part of wooden consturction (rafters, collars)
- H roof tiles
- H-V transition
- some additions like: roof windows, chimneys, broken tiles
And that would be all.
Estimated required time in my current situation: 1 week
[sorry for spelling errors, I don't have spell check on this machine ~and it's winXP, yuck!]

Already, if color and angle are not an issue, the roof is good to go for the academy. Looking forward for the wooden adds and other details.i wrote:Colours could be adjusted in future in no-time.
