windmill, barn & other stuff

Post by IvanMorve »

Here is a little wall:
Image
As you can see, it's a WIP.

-The first one look like a plastic fake.
-the second is ... strange. I don't know what is wrong. Color? -> yes, color problem
-tiles are 64x32, we can SEE that.
-Doesn't work with the other tiles(forest tiles) ->still color
-...

Need critics, feedback etc...

(just added some numbers so I can formulate my reply better :P )

1 Yes
2 Color, and the top looks like a plastic fake too
3 No problem I think, just divide each tile into 2 tiles :P
4 Yes. Try (if you're using the GIMP) using Colours>Colourise and playing around with the sliders - not too much saturation.

5 Other than that, great! I like them ;)

Also, what's up with those white... chinks... at the bottom?
Hissssss...

Maybe you could improve till-ability: [top-part] - [middle part] - [bottom part]. Middle part should be vertical tillable.
Also you could add AA on edges.

Pretty cool! Those tiles could be used as a dungon.
I mean.... TMW would be feeling more RPG-like with a dungon and all...

I think what this image is still missing is a well-defined light direction like our other tiles.
  • former Manasource Programmer
  • former TMW Pixel artist
  • NOT a game master

You might have heard a certain rumor about me. This rumor is completely false. You might also have heard the other rumor about me. This rumor is 100% accurate.
