When they are stacked up that close, they look like the are connected some, the edges should maybe darker to show that they aren't?

Ok, this is the pine-tree (without snow) size-&-gamma corrected so it could be used into a "colder" forest area..

now about the situation:
to have a good-looking forest we should have at least 2 trees fitting good together..now we have 1 snow-pine for the snow-area and 1 pine for the eventual "colder-forest" area..

now I'll gonna work on the other model of pine/fir to have the basic-tree and then add the snow layer to get the other one..
probably to get the other model I'll have just to modify the existing one..

Ok let's post the updated versions of the 2 pines; here the changelogs:

- the bottom-right part of the Len's tree has been completed, (comparison below);
- the shadows has been revisited and corrected.

Very nice! My only concern is that they may not match the style of the current Snow tiles. But as the styles in the game aren't consistent anyway, I'm sure it won't matter :D

I like it.

Hal9000

I like this evergreen trees, they look very nice, just try to give a more deepness effect with some slight dark green on the right side, also don't forget perspective, if the tip of the tree is at the top and you have a 45o angle camera the tree will look flat laying on the floor, and last thing the shadow (I know is kind of hard) but a friend told me a technique you can use for that, I'll post the steps later.

@ Kage, Poison_ivy, Bertram, AxlTrozz:

ty

@ Poison_ivy:

yeah it can be solved quickly I think..

@AxlTrozz:

ok for the deepness effect, I'll force it..about the perspective, so you think the base should be less rounded? is it right?..for the shadows consider that on real ground they looks well anyway I'll wait for the steps ;)..
