Dark magic vs Light magic

Hi all,
I been reading the wiki and it talks about dark and light magic. do yhou have you pick one?
also what is themdifference and what types of magic can each do? i'm asking cause i'm not sure how up todate the wiki is.

That area of the wiki is up to date.

And yes, you have to choose one.

So far, light magic is better, because it has more nature spells, astral spells and its free, but dark magic will eventually have astral magic, although IMO dark magic would be better off having a seperate path of magic, e.g. necromancy. Necromancy could have superior spells to astral, although it would have a reasonably high cost to counter its strength, similar to lightning.

there's been talk about making dark magic better...

Anyway i think ill agree that light magic is better at the moment.
