The Lightbulb :D

Post by Leela »

How many forum members are needed to change a lightbulb?

One who changes the lightbulb and posts a thread in "off topic" that the lightbulb has been changed

14 who had similar experiences and tell him how he could have changed the lightbulb in a different way.

7 who point out the danger of changing lightbulbs.

3 who ask, what for the thread started needed a lightbulb in the first place.

5 who say, it is the government's fault that the lightbulb broke.

3 who say, the opposition wouldn't have done it better.

1 mentally insane who claims to know the guy who invented the lightbulb.

8 who point out the mistakes in spelling and grammar, in the posts before.

12 who start swearing at the grammar-people and say they are arrogant wise guys.

25 who correct the misspellings in the hater posts.

6 who discuss weather the correct word is lightbulb or illuminant.

3 old forum members who know that this discussion already existed two years ago, quote people who noone knows anymore and say, the guy who started the thread stole the topic to get the same honour as the guy from two years ago.

32 who seriously explain that the disscussion about lightbulbs belongs not to "off-topic" but somewhere else.

36 who argue about the best method to change lightbulbs, where you can buy the best lightbulbs, what lightbulb works best with what changing method and what kind of lightbulb is no good at all.

12 who are perfectly happy with the lightbulbs that are "no good at all" and accuse the 36 from before, they'd be salespeople and make advertisement.

5 who say that the fans of the bad lightbulbs would be sitting in the dark the whole day anyway and therefore have no clue about lightbulbs.

3 who point out, their job is about light and lightbulbs and therefore they know what they are talking about.

4 who underline that those who can read have an advantage.

2 who talk about the forum's search engine.

6 who say that the service in do-it-yourself-stores is bad.

2 who say the service there is ok and it is not better in America.

4 who discuss about heat resistance of lamp shades.

13 who say that this is really offtopic and they please might open another thread for that.

3 who completely ignore this suggestion.

19 who post links where you can see good lightbulbs

7 who tell you that some of the links are not correct and post the correct links.

3 who write exactly the same as the person before them but edit the post: "Oh, you where faster"

2 who start swearing very bad because they understood a posting wrong.

22 who quote the longest posting completely and write "exactly what I think"

7 whose postings are just stupid smilies

9 who log in with troll nicks to comment their favourite forum enemies' posts

4 who say that the trolls are just scared to show who they are and starting guessing who could have written what.

8 who write 50 postings within one hour. Evryone has exactly the same point of view and writes intelligent postings but they talk as cross-purposes while they ask themselves the whole time, how someone else meant something.

7 who only post there because the thread had so many visits. They read only the last 2 postings and do there best to point out their opinions.

9 who tell those 7 that everything they wrote was already talked about on the previous pages

one who posts a too wide picture of his lightbulb, so that from now on everyone has to scroll sideways to read the postings.

3 who ask how to post a picture

5 who talk about the FAQ

2 noobs who want their accounts deleted because this is a stupid forum

2 who say that this is like kindergarten because noone seems to understand what this is all about.

7 who decide to leave the discussion because "the discussion reached a too low level"

3 who blame them and say that "the discussion reaches a too low level" everytime they don't know what to say anymore.

AND
one user who finds the thread after 6 months so everything can start from the beginning.
As long as it's not about my eye...
CAUTION! Do not look into laser with remaining eye.

5 persistent un-banned trolls who come into the thread, making a menace of themselves, inciting a flame war and feeling their work is done now that the thread is pretty much derailed.

1 careless forum moderator who reviews a couple of the meandering posts, figures the thread never had any real direction in the first place, locks it down and eventually deletes it -- leaving the work half finished and the bulb-changer in the dark.
