Sorry if I didn't tell you before, but I was talking about a non-moving plant, this way it will be easier to make it into sprites (will require less sprites since those for walking are not used).
Anyway great work again!

I don't like the idea that the pot has eyes. It's a natural born monster, a life being, not a haunted pot.

The eyes are only a drawing

do you mean a drawing in the pot? if is that, it would be a lot of coincidence that the pot cracked just under the eye, makina hole that is very like a mouth; or maybe you are saying that the plant painted but that's kinda unlikely

It's only a suggestion, a concept. The pixel artists can modify it.
But I think you've reason: It's not a haunted pot! But if we think in all details...
------
The eyes is not painted in the pot. The idea is to be real eyes.
But a hauted object is not a bad idea!

The first plant does not need to be a moving one.
We can just have the roots going into the ground which look like legs but it doesn't move.
I love you too.

The bee's rear part looks a bit heavy to fly with.
I'd use real carnivorous plants as an example for the veggie monster: more like traps than actively hunting vermin.

To most people these alone look alien enough to be "original". The same method was used for example in the newer Star Wars movies: everything had a referrence in real life. (I think the gungans were modelled after an African tribe etc..)
