Music Thus Far

Post by saturn »

It's been a while for me, and it seems CR1 is still very slowly progressing, so I'll post what I've got here (as it's all free to use everywhere):

Awesome Port song:

Mellow harpsichord-y song:
http://alokinnollahwe.com/saturn/gamemu ... ketch1.mp3

Old Academy/Library-esque song:
http://alokinnollahwe.com/saturn/gamemu ... ketch1.mp3

Mellow lagoon-ish song:
http://alokinnollahwe.com/saturn/gamemu ... ketch1.mp3

Bad samples, but a kewl dungeon song:
http://alokinnollahwe.com/saturn/gamemu ... ch_1.1.mp3

Bad recording, but a kewl dungeon song:
http://alokinnollahwe.com/saturn/gamemu ... ch_2.1.mp3

I remember krazyjackee had some great songs as well, and I'm looking at all the new stuff in this forum as well. As far as music goes, we should probably set some goals and collaborate more. CR1 was nice in that it had specific goals to work towards.

Anyways, I am working on a new piece right now, and all the above are subject to change, and many need to be "re-done" in order to sound better.

For some reason I can't seem to get your links to work. It's as if the site is down.

Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. Has anybody seen this princess I'm looking for?

The site has been down since last night. I will have to think of a way to bring it back up, I'll post back when it's up (within an hour or two).

I really should have mentioned this before but all music should be in .ogg format.
I just realized that when i went to listen to those songs and dont have the mp3 codec installed in Linux.

All music to be included in the game will be OGG, yes. How individual artists choose to preview their pieces before inclusion into the client is entirely up to them.
