Ok, I finally decided it would be cool to have my own server, so I set it up, got it running and got some people on. Now, I want an update server and everything is going pretty much ok...I setup the data.zip and resources2.txt etc..I only have one problem...The host. I can't seem to find any free web hosting sites out there that work. Dark_mage, who has been quite helpful to me through all this, suggested freewebhostingarea.com so I tried that but their problem is they have a 10mb maximum file limit, and the data.zip is over 40mb. Next I found 000webhost.com, and everything went fine until I got to the update screen in my client and it crashed trying to access the files. So that one's out. Now, I have nowhere do go except to those who know more about this all that I do...Can anyone give me some suggestions here? I have everything ready-full-speed-ahead I just need a host. Any ideas?

Its current use is for the continued development of the server and game it has always served: TMW Classic.

is it a dedicated server you have for hosting your mana server?
if so, why not make the update server the same machine?
if you managed to set up the mana server, it should be really easy to set up a webserver for the updates too i think.
however, i made good experiences with the 110mb.com free hosting service.

Thank you, I'll try 110mb.com The reason I'm not using my machine is because It's not exactly dedicated and my connection would make things slow for people

Well, my domain, crcupdates.comyr.com (00webhost.com) I deleted because I didn't want redundant information of myself somewhere out there. However, the error is easily recreated enough. Create an account there and set the updates server in login_local.conf to:
http://www.mydomain.comyr.com/public_html
It says 'update incomplete it is recommended that you try again later' when I set it to this:
http://www.mydomain.comyr.com/
the site says 'do not upload files here' in the main directory so I had to put them in that public_html folder
Btw, 110MB.com has an 8mb file limit
Back to the old drawing board...

I have been unable to find ANY sites out there that work so far, all of them have limits of some kind that prevent my from being able to use them. So, I am looking to the Mana Community, in hopes that someone here who has the right kind of site and might be able to host me. I would still be happy if someone could recommend something that works. My preferences are:
At least 500mb of space
NO FILE SIZE LIMIT!
Free...duh
The only thing I can compare what I need to it 4144's site...tmw.cetki.com so if you look there in the downloads section that is the kind of thing I need...direct file downloads at an http link.
