Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. Has anybody seen this princess I'm looking for?

Perhaps instead of a patterned skirt, make it to look like vertical metal sheets.

Gravedigging is okay when you're actually contributing .

Are you familiar with using the dye system to do all these colors with one image?

Btw, my sister wore the kilt when she was drum major, since our high school mascot is the Highlanders.

What o11c ment is:
Thanks for contributing, and doing the work of coloring this.

but since some time we have a way to dye items with the client. this only requires 1 piece of art and then the colors can be chosen in the item-file. I don't know how it works but it might be worth to look into that :).

Checkout #themanaworld-art on Freenode-IRC or wait for another reply here.

with best regards

It is not because an idea is on stanby state that it is abandoned and buried and re quires a new topic.

Joseph is aware that a dying system exists but his work is a purely graphic one. When time has come, he will dig into it.
He wanted some feedback about the shapes and color choices.

I actually don't like one-sentence-posts but feedback is more important:
I really, really like those kilts and think the colors are very well chosen :D
Main characters:

Lv.95 - Biqcassy - mage on light path, addicted to her Fluffy Hat, love-hates Fallens, really misses Confused Tree...
Lv.70 - Simca. - dreams of becoming a speedarcher on light path, still has a lot to learn...

The grid on the kilt doesn't change of shape when the player walk or move his/her legs, you should try to draw it by yourself instead of using automated tools. :)

Well i did draw out the plaid shapes, i could redraw them again i guess, FYI i used about four layers to make these, started with the skirt card and used that as a template, created other transparent layers. There's the skirt card, created a black plaid card, created a white plaid card and a outline card. The colors can be changed on all those different cards mentioned, not sure what was automated(maybe the colors) with my tools, it took a lil awhile to make these.

Yes that's bad, you didn't take in consideration the movement of the cloth, the grid shouldn't be linear on all of these frames.

Also, the color is one of the latest thing that you should care, it will be dyed through a range of color later when developer will need of this item.
If you want some different palette to be used (like a red color on horizontal lines and green on vertical lines), use an other layer, so it can be easier to apply a dye on it later.
