[FND] Graveyard Inn NPCs
Re: [REQ] NPCs For New Content Release
I am now posting a finished tag to this [FND].
Those that wish to make xml for these NPCs may begin. If there are any further desired art updates to what will be used or additional NPCs added to the list, it is appreciated and a bonus to the list of NPCs, but is not necessary. We have reached our goal. Great job everyone!

Re: [FND] Graveyard Inn NPCs
Do try to minimize things: if there is a large static portion and a small animated portion, make it 2 sprites and use XML magic.

i not sure what you ment by 2 sprite.(i slow in the head sometimes )..what think you are saying is ...the moving on one sheet and non-moving on a other sheet..if this is how/what you are saying ...it should be no problem to doRotonen wrote:Do try to minimize things: if there is a large static portion and a small animated portion, make it 2 sprites and use XML magic.

Re: [FND] Graveyard Inn NPCs
Not a bad first attempt. The green is a little strong and rough, animation is pretty good. We probably won't use this NPC for the Graveyard, but it could be fun to introduce a race of outerworldly creatures from another dimension on another release. Please continue developing this on separate thread.cthu-lulu wrote:Hi everybody,

Yes, separate sheets for moving parts and static parts. Saves in storage space and client memory usage.skipy wrote:i not sure what you ment by 2 sprite.(i slow in the head sometimes )..what think you are saying is ...the moving on one sheet and non-moving on a other sheet..if this is how/what you are saying ...it should be no problem to doRotonen wrote:Do try to minimize things: if there is a large static portion and a small animated portion, make it 2 sprites and use XML magic.

Re: [FND] Graveyard Inn NPCs
...but makes creation and maintenance of the graphics a lot harder. You'll save maybe 50kb of memory per NPC that way. The 80s when every byte mattered are over.
