I guess i just saw it different than some. This game is all about the quests, and there are many!
Somes quests people do, others they do not do. No way is right or wrong.
But one quest is to get level 99, i would think it would be nice to show that you had done
this by wearing something to show that you had done it.
Since imho, its the hardest quest of the game!

I see no reason to bring it back up. Although I do like points, how about "just Marriage?" This would/should not be hard. I do think it would be better to add it to the game. What do I mean? A command that tells you who is married to who.

okay no one likes the hat idea, how about a vneck or tneck with 99 on it, or even a new color perhaps!

These are great ideals.
I think it would be a good ideal to let the GMs handle this part. Let the GMs get involved with placing names on this "hall of honor" or even giving this "rare lvl 99 award item".
Sort of small award ceremony (and bot check if you're concerned with that...)

Extravagant or not prsm I do think an added quest that opens when you're lvl 99 is a wonderful ideal.
as for placement for this "hall of honor" why not place this in Tulimshar.. you started there.. why not "retire" there? (lots of space in the middle sections of town and construction workers there)

If there is a reward for 99, then it should only apply to only NEW 99's. Not that old ones, sorry dayve and my beloved nitemares, but you have an army of 99's. Dayve alone would make the 99 reward a rare common at best.
It seems right if you want this reward then you would NOT allow anyone that is currently 98 or 99 to have it.
That would not include me. Dark water is 98 and 11%

Honestly i like the idea, but none of the devs want to work on TMW because of Mana
