DarkWater: As I tried to explain to you yesterday ingame. it is not personal. I think you would make a good GM, the time thing is the reason. I mostly see you online when Narus is, maybe you are online at other times too, I can only say what I see. Problems in the past are not a point for me to vote. (I told you that yesterday, too) Also I did not say that you have to remain silent, I just say that in some situations a long discussion is not what is needed to solve an ingame problem.

When I push dark water into doing this, she told me something.
We all laughed at her.

"The people holding power simply do not care. They do not care about the game or the players. The only thing that they care about it maintaining power. If we do not take steps to understand and join them, we can never get them to understand and join us. It is the communities responsibility to bridge the gap we see in the game. The powers that be, will never do that. They will resist every chance at doing that. They will label us radicals, power hungry, and just plain evil (ie trolls, botters, and hackers) So, if you want, I will run for gm. But do not expect me to win. Most of the people that currently in power would rather deleted the server, toss the hardware into the sea, and shoot themselves in the head, then relinquish any control to the community. We have seen it with the GM voting. It is not enough to just get an impossible number, but you also have to pass their power test. The current selection of voted in gm, are great people, but view their position as serving the community. This is strictly an overseer looking down on the mindless retches in the ditch. They know of the two positions that are possible, either down there with them or up here overseeing them. I love tiana and narus dearly, and would do anything for them. But their position is the same.

Understand, Kali, that we are dealing with people that would have good and honest developers leave, allow friends to attack players, and force development off the server, then allow someone to interact with them. They figure it is their game and if you do not like it leave, and many, many, many have, you know this. This server has been for many months, a dead man walking. Why you want me to try to heal this community is really beyond me. But I love you, and it is clear that you love this game. So I will try.

But please, my dear Kali, understand. They will not let me do it. They will vote me down. And people that you trusted will turn on us. It is the way the power system is. It is the way this game has become. We can serve the community better by being ourselves. Showing them love and giving them time. We already one a battle, they allow gm voting. And we did that with zero help from any gm or person in power. We only showed them that you can not force human nature into a role of captive. You must let the community believe they have some control. Even if it is false control.

You are trying to breathe life into a community that does not care, against a group of people that does not care. Love only works when people care. If they would rather toss you side like a rotten piece of meat and call you botters and trolls, then give you a chance to prove your worth. There is very little you can do about that. I am just saying this to you. So you will be ready for what they will say and do. And who will say and do it. For them, I am too power hungry. Their attack will start there. I am sorry, Kali. But it is the truth."

That was the email sent to me by my sister 2 days before the polls where open. So far, she has never been wrong about you guys. I wish it was soo different and you cared but it is not different. The only thing you care about is keeping power.

It is sad to see it come to this. So sis, I will take it back. I understand now. I understand.

I would thank everyone who voted for me. And no hard feelings for those that voted against me.

I harbor no ill feelings to anyone. I know you all did what you thought was right. But with that, <edit>, because even if I did get the positive votes, it is clear from the powers that be, I would never make a good gm.

After talking to a lot of people. Quitting is not an option. I would only let the people down that voted for me. So. If you think I would be a good gm then please vote.

If you disagree with me ok. I understand. But to deny the vote is not right.

Played over a year.
I've seen others try to argue with her and never seen her as anthing other than calm and willing to listen.
Has a true love of this game and the people in it.
Has been a GM in other games.
She is a level 99 player and so has knowledge and understanding of the game.

Alot of players love this game. and ill have to disagree with you on the arguing part. if anything she goes on the player "Dayve's" account and argues wit people. to be honest im not suprised if this is her nominating herself. I voted "no" because i dont see or think Dark water would be a good gm. it also seems shes desprite for power since this is still going on as a fight. there for i wouldnt want dark water to be a gm sorry.

what i think of her is she likes this game very passionately & cherishes high ambition. well,an ambition shouldn't be considered negatively, doesnt matter if realistic or not.

I voted No. Why? I voted no because you are much to busy doing other things for tmw. Your oppinouns on the forums are always herd and stand out. You always have a point. We need more people like you to point out the obvious things we developers might look over. Thanks for the effort. Good luck.

Thanks everyone for voting, the aurora project was about getting this right to vote, not getting me or anyone I know, elected. I will always serve the community regardless of my status.
