Hey, I just joined a few days ago and was having a lot of troubling understanding what I was doing wrong. I had seen her and a few others sitting around town recently and I finally decided to ask them for some help. I was given great advice on stat building, questing, and what I should be doing. They were polite and mature and helped set me on my way right when I was about to give up. Among this group was Leela, who I see often speaking to others and available for questions, a valuable asset to the community no doubt. Because of her help, I understand concepts about the game that I thought were entirely missing and have thusly decided to stay and become more active. Upon joining the forums I see that she has been nominated for GM. I give a strong recommendation for her, as I feel that one of the responsibilities of a GM is to be a helpful, polite, valuable, and positive contribution to the game server and community. From a new player's perspective, I feel she fits all of these roles nicely and I subsequently throw my (maybe not so valuable, being new) vote in for her.

Hope to see this come into fruition.

My impression of Leela is that she's a good person. But it seems she really *WANTS* to be a GM, which is a very bad sign. Anyone actively seeking power is not likely to use it properly. I also doubt her ability to be impartial. Voted no.
