I dislike her. She's angry and repeats the same things over and over.. However I don't believe banning her from the forums is appropriate or consistent.

There are plenty of other people that behave similarly on the forums and we are not talking about banning them, are we? Don't let mob mentality get the better of you. Being disruptive does not seem to be against the current interpretation of the rules. Either change the rules, or leave it be.

Don't just single one person out and censor them. Even Platyna refused to do such things.

hmm... I agree with a lot of wushin's and o11c's points and I'd love to see Platyna getting a ban and finally stop posting annoying stuff but I also don't see a reason for a ban at this point.
Well there were reasons before when she insulted people but that's too long ago already.

I also think that as long as she doesn't obviously deserve a ban it would make TMWC look bad.

As I said: I'd love to see her getting banned but at the moment it's not fair.
I know it sounds stupid but that's how it is.

Who guarantees you she will stop after those 90 days? We all know she probably wont... will you keep banning her until she stops being disruptive? I dont think it's the right way to behave and it wont solve anything. On the contrary, it will just make things even worse im afraid.

Not surprising, btw. You've always been in favor of giving the Committee more direct power. I'm not in the camp of 'dictator' o11c by any means, but you've consistently been pining for the group as a whole to have more direct power over the various extensions of the game. I understand your reasoning, I just happen to disagree with you.

There is nothing here that old fashioned moderation cannot resolve in a better way than by wielding a ban hammer.

So o11c puts own personal bugs over everyone else. Something that Platyna does and what it makes others to hate her. So one who slays dragon have to become dragon himself, isn't it?

I went ahead and banned her, since it *is* under my constitutionally-derived authority and there is no consensus.

If Platyna makes more sockpuppets, just don't reply and they'll get deleted sooner or later. Eventually she'll get tired of it and everybody can get back to work.

Further replies on this matter are just proof that she should have been banned long ago.
