Why does there have to be a single leader? Who chose o11c for that role? I thought the TMWC was supposed to be a committee, with equal authority for all who sit upon it. If any one person (o11c) abuses that authority and puts himself above the others, then just kick him off the TMWC. He can still do programming work, if he wants, but no longer be a TMWC member. And the rest of you TMWC are equals, brothers and sisters, standing shoulder to shoulder. Isn't that how you wanted it?

Yes Nard, but that's not how it was sold. The move from Platinum was sold as a new era, where everyone on the TMWC was equal, and everything would be done by consensus. That was the whole point of putting the GMs on the TMWC, for example. There would be no point for that, if it was all for show, and there was still an absolute ruler. I do believe that even now, the TMWC will be what their members make of it, and it can still be a round table, where everyone who sits there has an equal say. But that is up to them to enforce it that way, and to deal the consequences to those who break it.

This place is run more like a corporation though than a democracy. And we all know how you get ahead in a corporation, don't we?
