No, 153 is not allowed, 150 is the maximum level total allowed, but one of could just create a new char and use that one instead.
Just make sure that everyone in your team has the same hat/helmet.
Edit: And actually your total is 183, not 153, I believe.

Thanks to all who participated in this event, and special thanks to those who helped!
First prizes went to the bunny ears team - L, Shindale and Rayman. Second prizes went to the warlords team - Xaru and Chewitt. Third prizes were rewarded to the infantry team - Fate and Rnto. Congratulations to all of you!
Aiden Calhoun joined for the third part of the event, the ABBA reunion concert, and knew almost all the songs. His team (Aiden and WhiteLace) therefore won an honorary first prize. Congratulations to you too!
I heard afterwards that some people experienced multiple crashes during the event, and therefore couldn't read the instructions. However, the instructions were in fact repeated many times. On the other hand, some people made it very hard to see the instructions by talking off topic, screaming or generally behaving badly.
