nice to be noticed here. since this is an offtopic forum, lets start the discussion
i didnt cuss you out, rebelslade, i asked you what you think about the rules because i am very curious why ppl want to report others so soon. to me there seems to be no insult in speaking a foreign language, so i dont care if ppl break this rule.
but so many others here seem to to feel very insulted by that - i dont understand the point. so, in our "discussion", in which i asked you about
your opinion and
your feelings, you just told me "because these are the rules". i dont want to change the rules, thats not my aim. i want to understand how someone can feel insulted by foreign languages. i even cant be insulted by insults. so why you? whats your real problem?
i wondered if there are perhaps any other, untold intentions behind that. what would you say, if the rules were not speaking in english? would you feel insulted then? what if the rules were not: no swearing. what if there were no botting rules? what would you do? what woud you feel then? exactly the same way?
so ive got a theory:
perhaps some ppl wanna feel power. since they are no gms, but there are rules gms should follow, normal ppl can take control over others indirectly by reporting them for not following any rules. no matter which rules they are;
no matter if the rules make sense or not!
anyway, what do i think about rules? do rules prevent ppl from doing anything? do they make ppl understand why they should not do something? are they great justice? do they fit complex situations?
a great NO from me.

I'm unsure if I should say this, but in this particular case, one of the people talking in Portuguese called someone a "whore". I thought this game could be accessed by minors who may not be allowed to see such language (the bad words, not Portuguese), and I'm surprised and appalled so many people see this as a joke.
The idea of speaking in English in public places is so that everyone can understand each other, thus the gaming experience should be more bearable and enjoyable.
It's not something that a bunch of players are saying just for the heck of it. We get at least one Global Announcement from a GM telling everyone to talk in English in PUBLIC places every day.
We have a lot of freedoms in this game, so why not comply with this one small request? It's not as if you're forbidden to speak in your language forever or in all places. There are so many points where you can gather with your friends and talk in your language.
Why must people be so stubborn? Do they think that by not following a rule they will appear as cool or rebels?

Hope this helped your problem

Well well well
I wanted to answer but...
I feel kind of sad with that
so i have to say my words.
I appreciate rules
They have to be rules
Game and forum rules
Please read netiquette...
RFC1855
I appreciate GM's work and they do the best they can and do it well on my point of view
I appreciate also freedom and tolerance
I am against people who love power and stand with there levels or who try to be GM
or those who want to stand against the rules
Create a real debate on every point of the rules involving the Admins, the Dev, the GMs and the Players and lets make real and true debate without power or personal issues !
tmw the mana world...
let's build it together and not against each other please
signed : just a player enjoying the game and annoyed by some words or things i read here or in tmw
another point i'm happy in tmw don't want to leave because of this sorts of things thanks
