I know that meway and the GM's do a good job of posting evidence and explaining why a certain person was banned or w/e, but i'm just saying it's up to the GM's and the players have to trust them.

If it was the case that we did not trust this person we would have not voted him in :)

Player<->GM trust is a big factor, but I don't think it should be blind. It's good that some people are keeping an eye on ban postings, and I also encourage people to check out the http://server.themanaworld.org/gm/ GM logs once in a while. Just don't nitpick them to death, GMs are people too :) Looking through the logs usually just shows what a great job most of them are doing.

When something very odd comes up as it does from time to time, this type of transparency and player involvement has usually helped maintain the trust and keep things from getting out of hand. (*pictures pack of angry players attempting to burn a GM at the stake*)

Ok this is pointless...
If someone replies then they shouldnt have to be banned. I have botted a few times. And once ppl came and started talking to me i replied and then they lectured me...
I got away with it...

Why cant he?

Hear that, GMs? Trivium thinks you are all too lenient. He is shaking his finger at you for not banning him. It's botting crack-down time.

On that note, seriously 2 minutes is a long time. Especially if you are at your computer as you should be. It takes about a second to alt+tab. If you're away from the computer, turn off the bot (just in case).

ps. Trivium, read game rules and all previous posts before replying.

Probably because you are given 2 minutes to reply.. even if you reply right after you will still get banned..

And you didn't get banned because a GM didn't catch you?

so is he going to get banned for telling on himself or reset at the least i mean every other botter has to go threw the process if they are botting and he just admitted it. Something should be done here but thats not my decision.

DarkDragon won the last HMC event, in the future if I dont know someone I will be asking the GMs for reports before handing out a rare from the clan. In his anger to being banned he tossed his gift of a very rare tree hat on the ground. After promising to be its care taker, I will not have such behavior. Although its still in the game thankfully.
