Inspector Shameless is a troll and not worth putting effort into discussing anything. Don't feed the troll.

@Uber_Kalimero:

FAIL

I have no origins in the Middle East, I am only English and Lowland Scottish.

By the way, Brazil isn't the only place that speaks Portuguese and/or Spanish.

"English and Scottish only" : such a surprise ...
"Scottish" isn't even a language....

I never said that Scots should be spoken, I said that only English should be spoken. You're just grasping at straws, now. :|

Oh noes! It looks like I'm being ethnocentric and racist, towards myself.

Ooh, this is getting exciting! I can't wait for the showdown. Will there be guns??
I watched Gran Turino yesterday. It was great (Clint Eastwood's last ever acting role!).
As for myself, I can't understand why English only can be spoken. Just because you can't understand it doesn't mean other people can't. Sure, it's an English-language game, but so what? Just because other people are speaking Spanish and Portuguese doesn't mean you have to try Google-Translate everything they say. You could just Ignore them, anyway.
This thread is hilarious. It goes backwards and forwards, each person saying the other person's argument is pathetic, each saying the other is wrong, never actually making any proper points. Yah boo, you're a troll. Yah boo, you're Scottish. Yah boo, Scottish isn't a language. Yah boo, neither's troll (They just grunt and point).

~ I would love to support the Iranians. But how many of them play this game to know they're being supported?

Much better and smarter : Yeess !

Personal notes about this case :
1- I believe the suspect to play a smart-quadrichromic pimp rather than a stupid-green penguin now ...
2- This debate, after staying static for too long, seems to evolve again ...
3- Well done Inspector, have another beer !

Wow this topic is going nowhere, that's pretty impressive.

Khronos : In my opinion, what "InspectorShameless" wanted to say (with his habitual ultra-agressive-sarcastic-chauvinistic-troll tone) is that western countries have no right to say what is good or bad, what is a tyranny or not, to eastern country. If people in Iran want to change their government, they don't need Western countries to tell them what to do. He (i mean "inspector") points out that many dictatorship in the whole world have been totally created by western countries, so judging Iran with a "western view on democracy " would be hypocritical. Western countries aren't the saviors of humanity.
That's why i think the fact that president Obama didn't take any position on this issue is pretty clever.

Actually i'm NOT saying that showing any support is BAD. There is a real hope now in Iran (even if the situation finaly calms down), and even more, i think this hope is global. I just think we shouldn't give lessons we were unable to establish in our own countries, in the past.
And i think it wasn't worth to be so agressive (that was for both of you, inspector in first place).

If i am mistaken on my judgment, Inspector, please just beat me to death with your "shame sword", like you always do.
Khronos, you can check my IP, i'm not Matt's anti-troll account. If you don't believe me, ask fluffy.

Look, I don't Duck give a Chocolate Cupcake about what happened in the past. What I do care about is what is going to happen in the future. I want to right these wrongs that we westerners did in the past, by showing support to the Iranian people. Tyranny knows no borders, and firing on peaceful protesters is definitely tyranny. To disagree with such, is horrible. Defend yourselves if you will, say that we have no right to say anything about it. No, the United States of America was founded upon the principles of free speech, and if we truly believe in such ideals such as freedom and democracy, then we must voice it. Peace and freedom are not American ideals, but the common interests of all men. Give a man a choice between being beaten with a whip for saying he didn't like the dictator, and then give him the choice of living comfortably and speaking his mind. Westerners do not have a right to interfere, but we do have the right to comment on affairs abroad.

Interfering != Commentating

Basic advices again :
1-Switch off CBS-News channel and draw the curtains.
2-Stop sniffing all that cocaine the CIA provided you since that "Iran-Contra affair" : US/Ortega little "deal for freedom".
3-Avoid overdose : take a cold shower, call Emergency Services and start a rehab process.
4-Seriously try to forget that "Wear Green for Iran" lunacy !
I hope you to recover fast :
be courageous Buddy, and keep yourself away from all that crappy democratic cocaine NOW !
