Wouldn't you want to ban someone who comes and talk crap about your parents? Well that's exactly what UberKalimero and Whity. do.

Then why do you speak "YOUR" languages? Alot of people speak Portugese, Brazilian et cetera
Why not ban them? Why only french?
Again:
I suggest you french people create a different server with ALOT of good stuff, like new hats, quests, magic
and disallow the english-speakers' entry. That'll probably teach them a good lesson.

COME ON PEOPLE:
French are a part of the community too. AFAIK they are humans and have full right to stay in the community.
Also if you don't understand what they're saying, then don't get frustrated. GET A SODDING TRANSLATOR...

Your right we should be banning for the use of any word that does not originate from English all together. So the next time you have taco's for supper you better watch out you might get banned. Coincidently Fother's 'Zombie Nachoes' will have to be renamed to 'Zombie Mexican Crackers Salad'.

PS this topic is ludicrous and I will continue to mock anyone who continues to post here.

It's about every language other than English. You wouldn't want me to speak German when I'm telling someone who doesn't know German, that he is going to be banned....

... English-speakers are just lucky, that their language became THE world language most people having a computer know. So to understand each other, we need to speak that one language. What a shame.

Sorry for the sarcasm...

Whom are you talking to?

Well...talking about diversity....If people can't communicate with each other, there is not much of diversity. Do you call it diversity when 10 more or less big groups each speaking a different language don't talk to each other at all because they can't understand what the others are saying?

same position here on the respect towards you and your efforts in that way
you're dealing with this anytime and everytime with kindness and listening prehension as GM and as player

so sorry you took it this way

i was just thinking of the 'passerelles" between those groups
people openminded and willing to discover, being curios etc etc
such as you are; or Uber or me and much more whoever, makes any kind of effort to communicate with people who are not from their origin, race, politics, religion, beliefs etc etc etc etc

those people can make this possible

I don't know the exact problem now:
First: Of course I understand the rule because we need one language for "official" stuff to communicate.
Second: I understand that English native speakers think it is very rude to use another language.

But:

What the heck is the problem guys? Do you really have to know everything players are talking? Do you really want to know? Just because they are on the same spot? I have no problem, I know the sentence "i don't speak spanish" in spanish, lol that helps me much, believe it or not.
There are many players who wanna try this game but can't really because they don't speak english.
One night a spanish noob started talking to me. well ok... He knew no english so I used the great google translator :D and ran around tmw with him to find anyone speaking spanish to help him. I found some who were speaking spanish in public (omg ... send them to hell!)
Other example. My brother wanted to try this game. He can't speak any English at all because he never learned it. I can't be online the whole time to translate so he decided not to play this.
I myself often speak german to someone, so what? I will not stop that. Sometimes I make fun of someone and use red letters saying "English in public" (btw yes this is making fun of the many many announcements). Or I make fun of languages by trying to immitate them. But I'm not really affected by someone around me using another language.

So why is this a rule and not just a comment somewhere? A comment like "please speak English in public because that's our official language". Just not as a rule. Because in my humble opinion it's no very good rule. Too many people just can't communicate in English.

Exactly  :P

Edit:
This rule is not there because native English speakers feel offended if someone doesn't speak English. This rule was made by "somebody" from Poland. I don't think they speak English in Poland as their native language, do they?

And I'm not going to repeat everything that's already been said..... :?
