Purpose of GMs

Those are serious accusations, do you have any tangible proof to back up that slanderous statement? Because if you don't I surely hope you are going to retract those remarks or put the proof up for everyone to see.

Mocking a GM is the same thing as mocking another player which could warrant a ban and maybe should be even worse. Melkior said you shouldn't take offence to being mocked unless it's a dictatorship? Try mocking a police.

Delasia and doorsman got frustrated with some players and gave them a temp ban. This problem probably could've been prevented. I'll let those punished speak of the character of what happened, but I think we can move forward if we move the conversation onto conflict prevention. If I'm not mistaken, no official ruling can occur on who can or can't be a GM until Bjorn returns and by then this incident probably will be old news.

Draft an official statement on this event and prepare to send it to Bjorn. Other than that, we can work on preventing this and other problems in as constructive a manner as desired.

Also, I recommend "The Alternate World" as a place to craft a slowly growing player community if living with these GMs until an official ruling is made seems intolerable. MadCamel has established a way to increase your power level to be very similar to your TMW character, so little would be lost if you made the switch.

As for the devs...same thing I told the GMs...get over yourselves...yes you create the content *though I will note that content for the current game has all but stopped* but you do not own the game, its opensource...and nor should your little group have final say if the community has to put up with abusers being given power.

Don't like how the official server is run? Go on, set up your own server. See how long you hold out until it dies.

The "success" of the official TMW server isn't result of the work of our sucky GMs but the support of our beloved polish lady and the fact that it is the official server (standard client connects to it automatically).
