I didn't realize this was such a problem until I married Erienne and am with her pretty much all the time in game. I'm guessing a lot of females have to deal with this crap. Referring to guys sexual related advances towards female players. Erie actually reported the latest instance in the courthouse. It's one thing to be running around calling each other noobs and some harmless insults but this type of behaviour is pushing it and I hope to see it dealt with appropriately. BAN!

well, i don't know if this'll add or detract from this thread or not. but here goes.

i've had quite a few offers for marriage. i'm NOT boasting. trust me. at one point i was going to leave the game because it was just out of hand. i meet a lot of players and help them... so i guess it comes with the territory. at one point i would log in the game and get whispers immediately from a player who i felt was stalking me.

i know what it's like to have players sit/stand/sit/stand on me. i can't say i appreciate it. and some of us can take it in stride more easily than others. personally it really ticks me off and shows a great deal of disrespect. but, that's me.

lolz, one player said he defuses the whole thing by "tipping" 50GPs to anyone who sits on him. in other words: running and complaining seems to fuel determined pests. still: it is a bit creepy to have total strangers walk up to you and say: "I love you. marry me." that's when i feel like pulling out the big four-letter words and say: "WALK NOOB!!" but i hold back.

Let's not let this get into a nationality war. This is about sexual harassment in-game.

Yes it happens, and no we can't stop it all, but we also can't just give up and say "oh well, i can't stop it". We can take care of the ones who do it, and hope that it discourages others. The people who commit crimes are the ones who think they can get away with it, but without police there would be a lot more criminals. This is the same thing. Every drop in the bucket counts.
