Hi Black,
The "Tree's" layer isn't just just here for palmtrees, but also roofs, and certain other tiles.
It's the top layer which is drawn above beings sprites.
If you have a look at the houses in your pictures, you will see they're looking strange...
The top part is missing.

Thanks for the detailed info, I zoomed it out so little that I didnt notice, here it is now what do you think.

Hi Black,
This need to be tested while in-game to see what exact size could fit to get the minimap be a 'navigation help'
without challenging your eyes.
As for myself, I don't even know, it must be somewhere between your size and the current one, expecting the minimap view to show only a part of it.
I'll test this point as soon as possible (and so you could, too), by replacing the minimap picture for Tulimshar by an updated one in the data.

There isn't a layer just for trees, so you can't just hide it, as you'll loose other parts of the map. Replacing the trees in the tilesets with empty tiles would be better.
