DarkLord, I have a few points to make.

1) I don't care if you are 12, 22, 32 or 102. Anyone that uses the kind of language you did will be banned.

2) Next time I catch you doing the same (and history tells me that you WILL do it again) the ban WILL BE LONGER!

3) (And this goes for everybody) The game has rules and I'm getting fed up with habitual offenders, you break the rules, you get banned. End of Story.

4) Have a nice day.

Why swear and risk a ban..? I don't see how calling people <insert word here> is a sensible thing to do? Think before you act?

You probably meant "the kind of language you did directed at someone." Because if your GMship pray check the rules, swearing on its own is not against the rules.

I'm pretty sure RFC 1855 says do not swear, somewhere, and RFC 1855 is rule 6.

AFAIK, there's no mention of that in the RFC 1855. Of course, I may be wrong.

Not to mention that cursing (in general) has never been a punishable offense in the game and/or on the forums.

Ok, well I am fed up with everyone's crap. Now that people know I am 12, they see me as easy prey and bully me. CapitanAwesome, I do understand that I should be banned, that's fair but I don't like people being so rude. And btw, Booth I use edit quite alot so just crawl back into your hole and stfu.

Has it occurred to you that you aren't really being bullied but rather people are, to borrow your phrase, fed up with your crap? You switch sides faster than the ping pong ball. You insult everyone and everything. You really do act as an immature child, as Avital pointed out, most likely because you are one.

You don't like people being so rude? Is this a joke? In this whole thread you've been the most rude person. Every critique directed at you is a personal attack for you and your only defence is spewing vitriol.

Please, do us all a favour and try to keep your mouth shut until you really have something useful or at least remotely relevant to say.

Additionally Darklord, this has nothing to do with your age. I can think easily of another 12 year old who plays (whose name I won't mention unless she steps forward, that's her own business). She's a little immature at times, but she's polite and definitely makes the effort to join in.

You? You act like you're 12 and thus above all of the rules. You're like any pre-teen who discovered an internet connection and the lack of liability and you're going hog wild with that power.

The thing is, words can be good or evil depending on the manner they are used.

I would say when you direct swear words AT players or other users, with the intent to insult. I think that is considered abuse. While saying something like "I am Duck tried", is not direct at anyone, so in my book I see no problem with it.

Kage, although I agree about the the context of the words, i will also ask players nicely to refrain from using any foul language, mainly because it give new players a bad impression and also because we have younger players.

I understand that sometimes we slip, heck we all do it, and I'm not excluded from that, but I don't see why we can't keep the foul language to a minimum.

I see it in much the same light as LOTE (language other then english), feel free to use it when you're talking with friends out in the world, but when you are in town, please refrain.
