Before I even started the search I was like, "probably gonna be a list of stupid nethack games," but I was proven seriously wrong, and I became quite spoiled in the search

Well. Just got here. Lol...
I pretty much found the website searching for RPGs in RPGMAKER XP, and currently I'm updating the game to play... o.o
If anyone could answer me, I'd like to know the classes of the game(Or a link to see them) if there are any, so I wont be totally blindfolded when I pick something up.

I was doing a search for Free RPG's. I was specifically looking for Open Source games, because most of the commercial ones (Fee based, and free to play) pretty much suck.

I have concepts in mind, but no real skill set, so I was looking for a place to learn. This looks like it may actually be a good start!

So far, the client is not super polished, but it is off to a great start, and a server is in the works to replace the existing one.

Someday, I would like to start a project using the BSD license, but until then, I think that I can learn a lot here. ^_^

At the moment, I am playing the game in it's current encarnation, and I am idling in the irc channel. I look forward to contributing where I can.

EDIT: Forgot. I found them on source forge. ^.^

I was actually searching for games similar to terraworld and I found this and I liked this game 500x better because the people on terra arn't chill and the people in this community are sick.

Fedora 7 distro - just tried all the games in the distro and found, when I'd got broadband, that I liked this. I hadn't even heard of MMORPGs, much less knew what it stood for, but now I'm hooked.

If I remember correctly now, (and this is WAY back), your link was among a whole bunch of unorganized website to making an online game. I eventfully organized that list several years latter, and joined the game because it was on the list
