Hello guys,

I hoped I would have better news, but the Avora project is temporary down...

The reason is, like always, the time. There were important exams in the last four weeks so I had absolutely no time to contribute anything to the Avora project. No one kept contributing. The Avora website host moved to another server and the system was changed, that's the reason why the forums and the wiki doesn't work anymore, I will solve this problem as soon as I have more free time.
I decided to spend more time on The Alternate World this week (of course I have some free time!).

I'm disappointed that the Avora project developed like it did.

If you guys are still interested (I hope so) I will "resuscitate" the project and spend my free time on it. The only point would be that I need an active Co-admin who can represent me and know the project.
If we find such a person who's interested in this project, then we could chance the way of Avora and get it hopefully done.

Sorry for all the inconveniences and misunderstandings.
It was never my plan that Avora stops before it has begun.

Do you seriously believe that Avora is a TMW fork? I have to disappoint you, that's not true. :)

Odd that you would single out only that portion of his statement to correct....

The future of Avora is unclear at the moment, so it's not wrong or right.

Since that statement was made at a time where TMW described the whole engine + server (now called mana) it is an TMW fork since it uses the TMW client & server, even minus the tmw content.

@Len: That was correct since only the fork-part was checked.

Avora started after the Mana split.

Thanks.

However, my time schedule looks clearer in the upcoming weeks, so the Avora project will probably go on. But I am still searching for another sci-fi fan who is interested in this project and wants to represent me when I run out of time (and of cours, I'm sure this will happen).

I hope it'll happen too. I like avora and I want to see this beautiful game. TMW is beautiful too, and I also like it, but I prefer sci-fi. Exactly I'll continue loving and playing TMW as always, also helping it, but also there'll be avora in my interests too. Only waiting can help.
Good Luck

P.S.: Don't worry and don't be happy, I'll never leave this project. :D

Avora started after the Mana split.
And my post which was the base for this graphic was made before Avora & Mana. That's what I meant, that's whats important.

Back to the topic.

Finally, the forums are up again and can be found under http://avora.freeforums.org. I'll try to get the old post, account and group datas/settings.

The wiki will also be up pretty soon.

I hope some of you guys are still interested in it.

Thanks,
Der Loisl

A project cannot depend on one person's exams, I have damn hard exams since the beginning of april, I have passed the last one yesterday, and TMW is not dead, at least not that part I am responsible for. ;-)

Regards.
