The newier 4144 clients can not be botted, period. They just cant be botted. It is not 2 or 3 mins. The min you lose focus, they will not move to the next monster. The older versions can be botted, but they will not stop once they are turned on. This as been tested hunderds of times. Hundreds. What you are saying can not happen with the 4144 clients.
So once again, what you are saying does not make sense. If it was a "glitch" or a "bug" it made you look like a scripted bot, which I know cannot happen, and dayve will back me up on this one. So nothing can be done for you, i am sorry, the character is lost.

maybe he targeted just one kind of monsters and didnt know.i think manabot allows u to do that...
for example a player bots just bats in the batcave and dont want to hit pinkies.... is warped away and around him are maggots, the player stops attacking (because he is only able to attack bats) and is warped back he starts to attack bats again...
if so... it wouldn't be a sneakyevilTrick&Mock-GM-Bot
in my opinion it would be a simple bot and would be punished like a non-scriptbot
u could test your client lollkiller if there is any function implemented that works that way?
edit: oh i just discovered this
[2010-05-28 04:53:01] botcheck.gat(19,17) AlOnS : @spawn seaslime 10
that would eliminate my theorie

Dark Water: I know the rules very well but thanks for telling again.
What I mean about clear rules:
If there is different punishment for one thing (botting) it has to be stated in the rules *in the game*.
How often does one have to say that not everyone who plays, also reads the forum.
I mean it is good that for forum readers the information about the difference is there. But it is not for people who don't read the forum.
What I say is easy to understand and can not be twisted around.
So I say it once more and after that I will not post in this topic anymore because it is like talking to a wall anyway.
Make rules AND the fact that you punish in different ways CLEAR - INGAME.
thanks for ignoring this post

I did all I could to make the information about the punishment public... well I could do some @broadcasts... but now it's someone else's turn to put the information in game.

Maybe this is what happened to him. Your "proof" is weak and based on assumption.
You can see the times at GM log. I gave him enough time on botcheck area to attack just to be only a matter of lag (more than one whole minute). As he stopped attacking, I recalled him back and I was about to leave when he started again attacking there. I don't know if it was lag, or a client problem, or anything that could happen. The only thing I can say is what I saw with my own eyes, and it's explained on the GM log. After this, I don't know if we should really consider the options on lag, and the bug option is something we are trying to prove.
@LOLLKILLER: Remember that GM's are not in-charge of making their own rules, I cannot reset you. Our job is to enforce the rules currently set, and you can see them in the links previously posted.
Regards.

I agree with you Alons and i thanks all Gm to do their work. I'm just confused about this and i can just tell you again and again and swear it i'm not using any script boting or something else. I don't see the point except to be ban forever. I really need a bit help because there are too many non sense for me. As i tell before i hope i can get another chance , the last chance just because i can swear i don't use script , and lot of people can tell this about me.
Thanks for all , i'll lvl up again for now...
(sorry for my bad english...)

I agree, but look how long the it would have had to lag, like 8 mins.
Too long.
There is a moral to this story, do no bot. If you think you are going to take a phone call and turn your character "on" be ready to lose your character.
Leela, the rule for scripted bots has been around for months. We all know about it. But your argument rest on one principle "ignorance of a crime or the punishment makes me immune to the crime or punishment."
"Honest officer, if I knew killing 4 people would get me the death sentence, I would have stopped at two!"
"You cant send me to jail for 4 kilos of cocaine, that is a myth. It is not a myth? Well since I did not know it was a crime I demand a 3 weeks prison term and my cocaine back!"
He botted, it looks scripted, end. of. story.

It's ok to try to join this game with real world. Still it's a game & ppl play it to enjoy & not to memorize all the rules. Some rules may get slipped. That's why I said give enough punishment at the first time & ban forever at the 2nd time. That way you even dont need to prove if someone used script or so.
And someone plz add the punishment notification even in game.
Edit: punishment notification can be in terms of links too. to avoid frequent restart of the game server.

The case and the policy change that led to above appliance of rule number 2 is controversial and requires revision, therefore I am to analyze it and consult with other GMs, it is now put on hold and will be solved soon.
Of course retaining your items or experience is not an option.

Your case will be handled according to the known rule "everyone deserves a second chance, no one deserves a third one", your char will be reset, with quest items left intact, and your account will be unbanned. Second "mistake" will result in a permanent ban.
Regards.
