Where I am we decorate the baskets with ribbons.

Traditional colors are pink - light blue - yellow...
I resized a basket I drew earlier and added some color.
We usually fill these with the green plastic grass...then all the goodies =]

The first doesn't fit in game, the size, the color, the texture, the sharp, all needed a review. The salmondine one is already better but it need some change about the blue color.
@salmondine : Could you add some AA on your blue point? or doing a color that fit much with the base.

The first basket looks more like a pale than a basket.

Skipy gave me that basket (bar handle) as a prop for the original Hallowe'en event last year. I don't know if he made it for that purpose, but it certainly wasn't made as a basket - which is why it looks like it's made of stones, and has moss growing on it.
Salmondine's is much better. I'm not really a fan of AA, but I'd say it's nice enough.

to set this basket straight...it was meant to hold bloody heads ....(in my head i made it out of hemp-rope form 100 hanged men,fat muscle and sinew from a white moobou to hold the test of time and sew it together...and yes- there is blood and probably lots of moss growing on it).....i posted to get the ball rolling in this topic and thought the shape may be use full
i hope this helps in some sort of understanding

I like all those. However, IMHO, I would change the reeds. They look too "hard" to me, maybe make a more "flexible" pack of reed. It seems to me that it is a bunch of indutrial reeds.
On top of all, use my chocolate bunny!
Great job all!
