You see a kitten and a jackal. The jackal misses the kitten. The kitten bites the jackal. The jackal turns to flee!

The cursed crude dagger hits the jackal! The jackal bites you! The kitten bites the jackal! The jackal is killed!
The kitten's disposition to you is peaceful. The kitten meows and looks hungry.
You see here a cursed crude dagger and a jackal corpse.
Further in the room, you see: a spear, an opera cloak, a leather armor, an etched helm, a bronze plate mail, and a crested helm.
You are currently carrying 104 gold pieces, a lichen corpse, and a goblin corpse.
Despite the fact that you are naked, you have no difficulty carrying any number of things (*), as long as they aren't too heavy.
(*) Actually, there is a limit to the number of things you can carry without a bag of some sort, but I'll probably get annoyed long before you try to put that much stuff in your inventory.

First off, drop the corpses (near the kitten). Then put on the leather armor, etched helm, and opera cloak; grab the spear and wield it. Inspect the rest of the armor more closely and see what I can ascertain about that and my surroundings.

You throw the goblin corpse at the kitten. The kitten catches the goblin corpse. The kitten eats the goblin corpse.
You pick up a jackal corpse. You throw the jackal corpse at the kitten. The kitten catches the jackal corpse. The kitten eats the jackal corpse.
You equip a +0 leather armor. You equip a +0 etched helm. You equip a +0 opera cloak. You wield a spear. Despite the lack of underwear, you are not concerned about chafing.
You are in a small room used to store armor.
You see here a tame kitten named Gargantuax.
There is a bronze plate mail here. There is a crested helm here. There is a cursed crude dagger here. There is a lichen corpse here.
You cannot determine anything else about what is here.

Take off the cloak, leather armor, and etched helm. Pick up (and equip) the bronze plate mail and crested helm.

You take off a your opera cloak. You take off your leather armor. You pick up a bronze plate mail. You put on a +0 bronze plate mail. You take off your etched helm. You pick up a crested helm. You put on a +0 crested helm.
You find no pockets, let alone keys.
(Note: despite both having no enchantment, the bronze plate mail offers more protection)
